How do I test paypal?? (IPN)

Hmm... ok, but the account is created!

I changed the email to fakeemail.com just because I didn't want bots surfing through here taking my addy :) The address used was created.

Hmm... but maybe its because that account was never "verified". I'll try that.

Oh jeeze... yeah that did id.


Ok, so for anyone else trying to set up a Sandbox testing account in PayPal... remember to confirm your email!! Because in Sandbox the emails don't actually go to your email (they have an internal fake-email system), I missed that step.

It all works now.

How did you do this part...

I haven't found any instructions anywhere for this.
I've setup my sandbox accounts, verified them, etc. but I'm apparently not pointing to the sandbox.

in your admin panel... go to Modules --> Payment and choose PayPal IPN (for example) and click Edit. scroll down near the bottom.. where it now says "www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" change to "www.sandbox.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr"
