Use an FTP client like FileZilla to upload.

how do i upload a photo to the server. i know im just overlooking some small thing

any help would be great, thanks in advance
Let's see if we can get you there another way.

    • YOURSITE - the URL for your site (like http://www.microsoft.com)
    • YOURADMIN - If you have renamed the admin folder (You SHOULD) then this would be the new name of your admin folder. If you still have admin, the name would be admin.
    • Images - This is the folder in the YOURADMIN folder that holds the images used by the admin
    • logo.gif - the name of the file that is there now.

In your browser, enter the link to the image by replacing the UPPERCASE ITEMS in the following link with the correct ones for your site.

    YOURSITE/YOURADMIN/images/logo.gif

If you enter that in a browser you should get the image that is currently being used. Right-click on the image and it should tell you the size ##px x ##px. The first number is the width and the second is the height.

Create your own logo.gif at approximately the same size as the original.

Once you have completed the logo.gif, FTP the file to the folder at YOURSITE/YOURADMIN/images.
    A little help with colors.

    Glad you got it.

I thought the file location description might be throwing you off.
