Free ship and COD in home city???

I wonder if this solution is possible...

We would like to offer COD and free delivery only to our city (or even just to our zip code)

How can i set this up? or is the setup only down to state level zones?

my zone should be our city....

For your reference, there is mod which had discussed in the archive - Local Delivery Module. Not tested with v1.3.x.

this contribution doesn't seem to work in 1.3.5. it comes up with an error that it "is unable to reclassify " some class and it points to line 25 in the delivery.php.

also not working in 1.3.5. - or i'm just to stupid - - are the pdf catalog 0.96 (it need's pix named "picname_SMALL.jpg") and a contribution to put language and currency in the header.


i still would love to have a "COD zone" and a "delivery zone" restricted to our city.

can anyone give me a step-by-step how to set up a zone for our city? i'm using 1.3.6 and the zone shipping or store pic up looks nice. so does the COD. but how do i set up a zone based on the city name or zip code? zones only seem to go as low as state level.

I'm having the same problem. Judging by all the unresolved help requests posted to these forums, I think city level sub-zones should be a core feature. So how do we define zones for cities?

Also there are too dang many international zones defined by default. We don't do international sales yet. I don't want my database to be cluttered with zones for every little island in the all world's oceans. There ought be some method for including or excluding broad regions of zones at install time.
