No. Template Monster design great-looking templates and should get credit for that. The problem is that they implement them very poorly.
They stuck with old fashioned approaches such as nested tables for a long time, before converting to divs, and now use divs as though they were nested tables, which rather misses the point, and makes their templates unnecessarily difficult to customize and upgrade.
Other customers in this forum have also complained that they sometimes hard-code specific products into parts of the template, which may make their demos look good, but creates problems when a customer starts loading their own products.
Finally, their work simply doesn't validate. If you run their demo of the template you bought through the W3C validator it returns 90 errors. Though to be fair this is one of the better templates, as the errors are less serious than most (indeed it's mostly one error, they just keep making it over and over!).
