Default getting error msg from ot_tax.php

    error msg reads:
Warning: reset(); Passed variable is not an array or object i ot_tax.php on line 38

this appears on step 2 of 3 payment information

i have taxes set up as follows:
    admin / locations/taxes/zone definitions: florida

admin / locations/taxes/tax classes: taxable goods

    admin / locations/taxes/tax rates: priority - 1, tax class - taxable goods, zone - florida, tax rate - 6%

admin / configuration / my store:

    Country United States
    Zone Florida
    Display Prices wtih Tax false
Display Prices with Tax in Admin false
    Basis of Product tax shipping
    basis of shipping tax shipping
    sales tax display status 1

I tried once from a shipping address in Florida and once from a shipping address in Texas and get the same error both times. I can't figure out where I've made my mistake.
    Any suggestions?

For giggles and grins ... make sure you downloaded the most recent patch ...

Then reload all of the files to your site ...

Uninstall and Reinstall and configure ...

Close your browser ... clear your cache ...

Now give it a try ...

If it still happens, try switching to Classic Template ... does this work now?

What if a site is getting this error and not even using Paypal Express?

OK, I tried all of the above. Even tried it in IE where I've never gone to this site before and still no luck. I did try switching templates but the error remained. The error is on step 2 of the checkout process. In addition to the error, the Sub-total and Total show as $0.00.

Another thing, if I turn off the taxes in the order total module, the errors disappear, but the subtotal and total remain at $0.00. We do need the taxes to work, but I just wanted to see if turning it off would solve the problem even, but it only partially fixed it.

Sounds like a bit more information is needed ....

    1. What version of Zen Cart ?
    2. What mods / addons have you installed?
    3. What parts of the code have you customized?
    4. When did this error start occurring?
    5. Have you *ever* had taxes working on this site?
    6. What is the URL to the site?
    7. What currencies do you have activated? Does this happen only in the default currency?
    8. What tax zones do you have?
    9. What tax classes do you have?
    10. What tax rates do you have?
    11. What tax class is assigned to the products in your cart when this occurs?
    12. What tax class is assigned to each of your shipping modules?
    13. What tax class is assigned to each of your order-total modules? What Tax Basis is assigned?
    14. Do you have coupons and/or gift certificates enabled on your site? Are these in-use when these errors occur?
    15. In Admin->Config->My Store, what is your Tax Basis set to for products? for shipping?
    16. In Admin->Config->My Store, are you displaying prices WITH or WITHOUT tax ?
    17. If you had to set up a fresh site to duplicate this problem, what steps would be necessary?
