Testimonial Manager Support Thread

Hey Clyde, I have noticed new issue now.

I got a TEXT_FIELD_OPTIONAL appeared besides my 'fill in the blanks' form inside ZC admin.

Is TM giving this problem? Do you have any idea how to fix it?

Not sure it it is TM.

open admin/includes/functions/html_output.php

at around line 235 you should see:

if ($required == false) $field .= TEXT_FIELD_OPTIONAL;

Just delete this line and see if that clears that text string.

Due to the several "glitch" reports involving the "New Installation" section of Testimonial Manager, I'm in the process of tracking down and correcting them.

I'll re-work the the entire section and post an updated version in the next couple of days.

In the meantime the fixes listed in the last few post should correct most, if not all, of the problems.

I appoligize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Am i supose to see the number of click on the link?
It show cCicks 0 , and myself I click few time and it is not changing

If you haven't disabled them in admin, yes you will see them

The reason they don't change is because of new "direct link" capability of the mod.
I'll work on fixing this for the next update.

go to admin -> configuration -> links manager

Enable Click Count - set to false

Display Link Click Count - set to 0

Make sure you've renamed ALL the YOUR_TEMPLATE folders to match your custom template name.

Also make sure the following files have been uploaded to your server

Ive got it! You're a bloody legend! I had added:

to the wrong area. Thanks for taking the time to help.

Hello,

I have installed Testimonial Manager 1.4.3.2. It actually always worked fine. But now all of a sudden I dont see any testimonials submitted by users in my admin, thus no more new testimonials. Adding one through the admin works although. Can you please help?
