Hello,
A friend of mine is using http://www.vpasp.com as his current cart solution but his hosts-stroke-designers-stroke-rip off merchants are telling him he has to pay and upwards of £8000 to upgrade his cart.
Now hearing this and knowing that I've done some stuff with Zencart he's asked me if I could save his preverbial bacon and work some magic.
I have never worked with asp or access databases so I'm completely lost and I've looked through these forums and couldn't see anything (overtly) that could help so I turn now and throw myself at your mercy.
Initially I thought I could just take his existing cart and manually add the products to a new Zencart install, but having just looked at the access database I don't think that's gonna happen. He has over 3000 'features' (what vp-asp seems to call attributes) which means I'd have to implement that many attributes then apply them to however many hundred products he has. This is where I implore your help!
Is there a relativly easy way that I can take the access database that has already been populated with products, their attributes, and prices and slot it into a Zencart installation? Bearing in mind that I'm a complete and utter novice with php/mysql so may need baby steps?
Thank you ever so much in advance!
