problem with taxes in "zones method" module

hello.
i can't figure out why the taxes ("umsatzsteuer") are not displayed in the "zones method" module.

when i start the checkout process and choose this shipping method, the shipping costs are displayed correcty including taxes (1.80 euro = 1,51 + 19% taxes). but at the end of the checkout process, the net value of the shipping costs is displayed.

i've made some screenshots of the checkout process and some of the settings in the backend, to give you a better idea:

i should add that i am still using an old version (1.2.4)
