    Default Country dropdown - some countries not displaying

    Hi - I have a strange problem. On the create account page and add/update new address pages the countries are not displaying properly in the drop down.

    Examples
    1) I try to create a new account. United Kingdom (14 characters) is the default country. If I select another country with a length of < 14 characters no country is displayed. If I select a country with >=14 characters the first 14 characters of the country are displayed. If I submit the form the country I chose (albeit not displayed) saves correctly and the country now displays in full.

    2) If I try to update existing address details the same thing happens dependant on how many characters are in the country saved to the database. ie if the country saved is Togo only the first 4 characters of all countries are displayed in the dropdown.

    This does not happen on the 'add new address page' at change checkout shipping address.

    Any ideas?

    What version of Zen Cart are you running?

    Is this a clean install or an upgrade? If an upgrade, from what version and how did you do the upgrade?

    Clean install of version 1.3.5.

    I had modified tpl_modules_create_account.php and put it in my override directory. As a test, I removed this file and started re-applying my changes one by one to the zencart version. When I remove the fieldset the problem re. the dropdown seems to appear. Leaving the fieldset in means the dropdown works correctly.

    Can you think of a reason why the removal of fieldset would cause this problem?

    There are address issues in v1.3.5 that were fixed in v1.3.6 ... and we are now on v1.3.7 ...

    I would suggest upgrading to correct all of these issues as well as others ...
