    Default adding charset to meta tag

    I am doing a page analysis through google and have become aware there isn't a

    <META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">

    in the meta tag. Where and how would I insert it.

    Sorry I don't know php very well.

    The charset is the second line in the automatically generated Meta Tags.

    Thanks for your reply.

    Yes, it is showing on my index page but there after it is missing. Once I have clicked off the index it is no longer in the meta tag.

    How do I fix this?

    I can't find a page where you are missing the charset. It is added automatically in the common/html_header.php and unless you have made some change that is included on everypage of a Zen Cart.
