Store won't load

Upgraded from 1.3.0.2 to 1.3.7.

Checked all the files with Winmerge against the original 1.3.0.2 download and made all the same alterations to the new files.

My site is not live so just ftp'd all the files across to the existing site (which was working).

Updated the database which seemed to work - got 3 error messages regarding page not found (already existed) so ignored them.

The admin now works fine so I assume the db is OK.

The problem is when I try to go to the store I just get a blank page.

When I right click and view source I get:

<BODY></BODY></HTML>

I then ftp'd the original index.php across but still the same thing happens.

I am using a template called FloralArt Template which a friend made for me.

Any ideas please?

What happens if you switch to Classic?

I have just switched to Classic green and the same thing happens i.e. no site.

Try reloading the files ...

It sounds like you have corrupt or missing files ...

Re-uploaded everthing - still not working

Any ideas where to start looking?

When I did the file compare using winmerge I did not alter any of the files in includes/templates/floralart (where my template is). Should I have done?

Hello,

I have the same problem. The site works fine on my local server. But when i upload it to a hosting i get only a blank page (also in admin) I change my hosting company second time but the problem continues. The database connection is OK, because when i change the database settings (ex. change the real pass to a fake one) then i see database error page.

Did anybody have any solution for this? I am on this problem for five days and no solution.

Which PHP version is installed on your related web hosting service ? If you add the error_reporting on your store's header file and admin's header file, what would be the reported errors (if any) ?

I use php version 4.3.10 on my localhost and version 5.1.2 on hosting company.

I enable the debug mode in the applit########_top.php and add the line,
define ('STRICT_ERROR_REPORTING', true);

can i do anything for error reporting ?

Debug mode doesn't give any error. But when i enable the strict error reporting i see a fatal error.

I think it's about the image handler contrib but i couldn't find any solution.

Your PHP version is rather old. I could be wrong but it's possible that you see this error message due to limited combinaison, since the original author of that MOD must of had coded his project under a more recent version of PHP.

PHP version is now up to: v4.4.6 release.

However, to be safe, I'd ask more support from this topic: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35913 since this issue is about the image handler MOD.
