upgrade or do security/bug fix??

hi, i am currently do a slow build of a Zen Cart 1.3.0.2. i have made major modifications to the store throughout (99% of which are done through the overrides). i also added some fields to one or two database tables.
i saw that there is a bug/security fix for this version. also that we are now up to 1.3.7.
my question is should i upgrade or stay where i am? the site is not live yet, but will be soon. i can do either. i can't tell if these updates are minor or major? which is more of a headache?

any advice would be appreciated. thanks!

The security patches from 1.3.02 to 1.3.7 (and in particular to 1.3.5) are major. I would recommend doing the upgrade before you launch as you will feel less pressured that way.
