Different layout for the checkout process

I'm using 1.3.6 at the moment and would like to change the layout of my check out pages. The site runs too slow when they checkout and don't need to see all the images and header image. Just a simple checkout would be nice.

This is possible but 2 things, you are using a template that might make this harder than a normal Zen Cart compliant template and you should not be seeing this issue of slow response and might look to your host to be moved to a faster server and first optimize all of your images and enable Gzip.

Enabling gzip was minimal, and the site is not so slow anyways. I just want the checkout process to be like lightning.

You're probably right about customizing my template, but what the hey. Got any ideas? What about if then statements on the body ID? I read about that somewhere.

If this template is using Zen Cart css...look in the css folder for a css readme and make a trim css for the checkout
