Create Account : Overriding Message Stack

Hi!

Im trying to customise my create account page to use a javascript "alert()" instead of the Zen Cart message stack when the form isnt filled out properly. I know it used this in earlier versions, is there a switch to turn between them, or do i need to modify some code somewhere?

There shouldn't be any need to customize to achieve this. It's built in and should run by default.

A couple of things to check.

1. Do you have javascript turned off in your browser (dumb I know but I've done it)?
2. Is your modules/pages/check_account/jscript_form_check.php file present and correct?

I found the problem. I had an error near the top of the jscript_form_check.php file which was causing the rest of the script to fail! Thanks for the help!
