image problem - please help!

Yesterday I added super order and ran the database backup add on, and I Lost all my images. They are in the folder, but were not showing.

I reloaded them all, no problem (and removed super orders) but now today a few images have gone astray again.
They were there two mintues ago, now they're not.

Can someone tell me what might be going on?

oh, I have a googlebot spider crawling my site, could this be related?
also the images I have added to an ezpage (hosted elsewhere) are not showing either
