Turn off Category Icon When in Subcategory

How can I switch off the top level category icon image when a user enters a sub-category? I only want the Category name and the subcategory icons to appear. At the moment the top level category name, category image then subcategory icons appear.

Can this be done from admin?

The Categories Image on the Product Listing is controlled in the Configuration ... Production Listings ...

Thanks - that did the trick. There are so many hidden things in the admin it will take forever to find out what each one does.

Thanks for the update that the categories_image showing or not showing on the Products Listings could be found with individual settings for each of the Product Listing sections to control the Category image ...
