Default Product "Write Review" link in emails

I want to be able to include a link in the confirmation email (or any other email) that the customer can click on and it take them to the "Write a Reveiw" section for that product(s) they purchased.

    Thanks to all in advance.

As far as I can recall, you can only write a review if you're logged in, so I think the only way to do it is to provide that link and ask the customer nicely to act on it.

You could also offer them a coupon for completing a review perhaps?

    Thanks RyK & ginginca,

I want to include the link to the product review within the "order confirmation" email. I want that link to point to the specific product(s) they purchased, as the "write a review" button works on the product page. I don't know the correct $email...call to include in the email HTML doc or if in fact it even exists.

I like the idea of the coupon or gift cert for completing a review.

So do I, as I have not annouced my shop yet, when I do it would be good to have those that buy, get something back for writing the review on what they bought, providing it was useful, as they could say all sorts.

I presume therefore they have to be a member first, so if a troublesome visitor like you can get on auctions can we bar them too.
Latter comment probably a new topic, but likley no, & have to do that through host package on IP.

Theres no difinitive way to ban someone from viewing your site unless they pay their ISP for a static IP address. However, you should be very careful when banning IP's. I once banned an IP address through my host's cpanel and it actually banned a range of similar addresses so I lost potential customers until I removed the ban. It was only by chance that I finally realised what had happened. Even if only the actual IP you specify is banned, that customer will soon have their IP changed by their ISP unless static. Or they could just use a different computer. You should set reviews so that they require approval and this way, no maliscious reviews get posted.

It should also be noted that maliscious customers are extremely rare. After all, who can really be bothered to start a hate campaign anyway.

Anyone have an answer for this primary topic, and as yet to master many parts of zen-cart.

I agree there are not likely to be malicious visitors, what I have had is those obtaining images & putting them on their own sites! With Image Handler2 this will frustrate them.
