Sort Order drop downs

I know this feature is on osCommerce, but I can't stand osCommerce.
Has anyone made a contribution like this?

Notice the drop downs. They second one gets populated depending on what is selected in the first one. This would make life sooooo much easier for me.

I have the stock_by_attributes installed for the back end. I was just wondering if any one has done the front end mod yet.

I would be willing to pay someone if they could do it. That is depending on the price of course. :)
