Change Main Page Content

Hi,

I've got a question I am hoping someone can help with. If you look at my site http://www.handcrafteduk.com/ you will see the text ' Lets see if this works. is this bold?'.

I would like to write on this part of the page but am doing so under /public_html/includes/languages/english/customtemplate/index.php and inputting the text in the TEXT_GREETING_GUEST section.

Is this the correct section to write the text? I'm just wanting to write an introduction to my website in this space that will be visible to all. I did try to modify define_main_page in the admin section only, when i wrote the text here, it was displayed on ALL my pages. I want it on the home page only!

I have a feeling I am putting the text in the wrong place so am hoping someone could tell me where I need to put it!

Well I was under the impression that you would write your Home/Index text in:
includes/languages/english/html_includes/YourTEMPLATE/define_main_page.php

but I am very new to this....

Thanks for the reply. Well, inputting any text into that area also puts the content on all of the pages instead of on the home page.

well this locations works for me
includes/languages/english/html_includes/XXX/define_main_page.php
and it shows only on my home page..
