    Default Newbie question before starting

Hey guys, I'm going to be setting up a website for my boss pretty soon, so that he can sell things online in addition to the office supplies he sells at the store. Because he's already paying $ to accept credit cards in the store, he doesn't want to pay more to accept them online through the various online payment companies. Instead, he wants ALL payments online to not really be processed (he's assuming a pretty slow start). He wants the customer's info and order to be emailed to him, so that he can process the credit card with the machine he has in the store.

I'm looking at several hosting options which come with zen cart, and so I wanted to be sure that zen cart would allow me to accept orders without processing the payment via paypal or all of the other options on the net.

If zen cart can just e-mail him the payment and order info for every order placed without processing it at all, then I will be very pleased to get started using zen cart on one of the hosting services that I've found.

I thank you for your time!
    Mike

That is what the Credit Card cc Payment Module is for ...

The beginning and ending digits are in the order and the middle emailed for security reasons ... but you processes the card manually ...

I see your list of certified hosts, but what advantage do they give compared to the many other hosting companies out there that have those "auto install" scripts for zen cart?

If the main advantage is just that they support you financially, that's cool and I'd definitely consider them, but just curious why they're "certified"?
