Free & Pay Downloads

Hi there!

Is there a way to change free downloads so they would need confirming by admin before the download link appears in the customers account. I don't want it to affect the pay items though.

Can't seem to find anything about it, possibly because I don't know what I'm looking for!

Any help is most appreciated!

The Orders Status is controlled by the Payment Module ... and that controls the available downloads after an order ...

There isn't a separate setting for this ...

You would need to customize the code quite a bit for this to work otherwise ...

So if there isn't a seperate setting for it, can it be done for all products, free and pay?

The Downloads are setup that when the Orders Status is >= 2 (Processing) or <= 4 (Updated) then the Download is available ...

If you set the Orders Status on the Payment Module to orders_status 1 (Pending) then the Download is not available until you update the Order Status in the Admin ... Customer ... Orders ... to be higher than 1 ... as in Processing or Delivered or Updated ...
