How can I get the ZC to update the CC numbers as whole in the ORDER table and not as 1234******98765645?
Can this be done? Is the CC number stored as whole somehere else?

You dont,
you do NOT ever store the CC number unencrypted in the DB.
If you dont want to use the split, you will need to use a real gatewayZen cart PCI compliant Hosting
