    Default Customer 'Log In' not working...

    I installed 1.3.6 a while back and have not had the time to finish ironing out the quirks... And today I just noticed that It wasn't letting customers 'Log In'... Instead it would just send them back to the page they were on...

    Since there was a 1.3.7 version out I decided to upgrade... But exactly the same thing is happening... It's pretty important because I won't be able to sell anything if I don't get this bit sorted out!

    If I get the password wrong or whatever, it reloads the login page with the correct error message... But once I've tried to 'Log In' as an existing customer, it just seems to refresh the page... If I come in from the home page, it takes me back to the home page, but I'm still not logged in...

    UPDATE: When trying to register as a new customer I'm getting: "Email Error: Could not execute: /usr/sbin/sendmail". Then I click "back" on the browser window and it takes me to the "My Account" page and I'm logged in as a new user! but once I log out... I can't log in again...

    Please help!

    What are your Session Settings in the Configuration?

    Recreate Session: False

    Working a treat so far...

    Thanks for the update that on your site changing the Recreate Sessions to false worked for you ...

    Some servers have to do this while others can take advantage of the feature ...

    I'm having the same problem. I changed the Recreate Sessions to false, and I still get kicked back to the Register page. What else can be done to fix this? Thanks, Jamie

    Is this an upgrade?

    It doesn't feel like all the right files were updated ... or that all the files are loaded correctly ...

    Usually we'd ask you to switch to Classic but you did not use the templates and overrides so that is not something we can do to see if it is just the template you are working on ...
