I want to set up USPS shipping module.

AfterI registered and obtained my Web Tools User ID, what is the next step I need to do?

The USPS instruction email is just a myth and all the testing links it provides are broken.

Plus, the USPS intruction email doesn't give me any password. I am using ZENCART 1.3.0.1, which requies a password. What should I do?

You are using a very old version of Zen Cart ... the current version is v1.3.7 ...

You may wish to upgrade your site due to security fixes, bug fixes and additional features ...

You would install it and use the Production server ...

NOTE: USPS requires that you physically call or email them to activate your account after you get your USPS Web Tools User ID so that they can enable it for the Production server ...

I would not waste time with the Test server ...

It is also a good idea on Upgrades to mark down the settings on all of the Modules for Payment, Shipping and Order Totals ... and do a remove, install, configure on each to ensure all is current and up to date ...
