need a lil help with shiping scenario

hi, I am running zen cart vers 1.3.0.2 its so sweet. i had it setup for downloads and it was working great.
Client requested adding 3 options in addition too the download. each option + shipping goes like this;

op 1 is $30. + 4lbs @ $14.95 to ship

op 2 $100. + 8lbs @ $24.95 to ship

op 3 $250.00. + 15lbs @ $44.95 to ship

downloads are $15.

Ive tried all kinds of ways to do it , none worked and now I am confused. I have been reading the support and the very good tutorials but I can not get the right config. I have not upgraded yet but I have my new, & old file set and ready for comparison, I did a lot of moddin to the template and do not want to loose.

I hate too bug you but I feltI should reachout for some help and it is greatly appreciated.

What is comprised in options 1, 2, 3??

Or - I see that opt 1 is one weight and opt 2 is another weight - sre you trying to ship by weight?

But each option also has a $ value - are you trying to ship by price?

Can do either singly but difficult to understand reasoning for both

I am sure I did it wrong. this is for an online gallery selling hi res image downloads. Now they want to sell framed prints. so i added option names for each print size and then an value to the option name; opname= 8x10print | value =mounted in 11x14 metal frame then i added a price for the value $30. the client wants to charge $14.95 to ship this.

I tried various ways to do it, mostly from reading Linda's thread on attributes;

which helped me understand a lot of this but I just cant get the cart to add it up right.
I have 1.3.7 installed in another dir, andI am going to upgrade. I would like to solve this issue first, because if I mess up both the template and the shipping, that would be bad for me, lol

I currently have the table rate installed, method is weight, my table looks like this;
4:14.95,8:24.95,15:44.95 prods are priced by attributes, price is set to 0

I tried per item, and per price. at this point I have been trying for a few days to figure it out and I think I lost my way, or I have totally confused myself. I solve complex problems frequently but this eludes me

Did you check if the Tare in the Shipping/Packaging settings are changing the weight?

Have you an URL that we can peek at?

Note: this means after 15lbs shipping is 0
4:14.95,8:24.95,15:44.95

To extend beyond that, you either need to define additional weights or set the last one to a high value to cover everything else ...

Note: the Product has a products_weight and the Attributes each have their own weight that you can add to that ...

no I did not, maybe thats it! oh boy that would be great. thanks so much for the tip on my table, I will fix that. I guess i need to re-think my configuration considering the prod weight and the attribute weights, hmmmm
