    Default Hooking up IPN

I want to use ZenCart with PayPal Premium Account (such as PayPal website payment standard) where the user is re-directed to to Paypal for credit card input.

    1) Do I install the PayPal IPN module or the PayPal Express Checkout Module? Or both?

What if I want to upgrade to PayPal website Payment Pro later? Then which module is needed for that?

    2) I am currently using my PayPal account for other business such as "donate" buttons on another website. When I enable IPN on my PayPal account for this ecommerce site, will it conflict with the behavior of my donate buttons? Since turning on IPN will direct all PayPal transactions to ZenCart, will my donate button still work?

Do I need to have a PayPal account that is exclusive for use with ZenCart? Or can I have one PayPal account that does work for ZenCart as well as other websites and other functions?

The module that has not been developed forthis yet

ZenCart provides it's own return and ignores what is set in your paypal account...So you can leave PP set for your other uses and ZC will be individual.

As Kobra mentioned, it's fine to share accounts.

I want to have the user enter credit card information directly on my site instead of redirecting to Paypal for credit card entry. That way PayPal works behind the scenes without the user knowing that their payment is being processed by PayPal (of course I will be putting PayPal express checkout button as required by PayPal).

My understanding is that I can do this if I use PayPal Website Payment Pro with SSL certificate on my host. And osCommerce is able to do this. So in theory I thought that ZenCart is able to do that as well. But you say that ZenCart does not have a "Website Payment Pro" module. Does that mean that I can not use ZenCart with "Website Payment Pro"? Or does that mean that I can still do the above, but that I just have to program it with PayPal's API instead of an installed module?

In a future version, Website Payments Pro will be supported.

When do you think ZenCart will support Website Payment Pro? Is it in terms of weeks or months?

I was misleaded into thinking that ZenCart Supported Website Payment Pro because on PayPal's product comparison click on the "supported cart" link under the Website Payment Pro column and I see ZenCart listed.

I do believe you when you said that it is not supported at this time, because I have just read the most interesting thread here which also talked about Paypal 2.0. If I do want user to input credit card on my site without redirection to paypal, do you recommend that I get an paypal 2.0 beta account and use all the various workarounds and modules to get it working with Zencart? Or will that be more trouble than its worth?
