"Confirm Order" page problem

Where is the HTML page in Zen Cart that has the "Confirm Order" button? I have to change the form action and target to "paypal" or else 9 out of 10 people can't use their credit cards.

Also, is there a way to change that in the Zencart Admin?

I am trying to get it to send the buyer's information over to Paypal. Many of them are complaining that they can't use their credit card.

The reason for this is because they try to enter in the number at the bottom of the credit card entry page at Paypal (the blank at the bottom that contains numbers and letters you have to enter to prove you aren't a spammer). They enter it exactly and still can't get through.

I called Paypal and they said it was because my site uses PHP includes, I have to change the form action statement on the confirm order button to read "target=paypal". They said Paypal won't accept the request unless the target is changed.

The confirm order button is the last one they press before being taken Paypal to complete the sale.

Any help would be appreciated. I am new to E-Commerce and I'm finding it very frustrating.

All of the functionality that you want is already built into Zen Cart's PayPal modules. All you have to do is properly configure the program and your PayPal account. What version of Zen Cart have you installed? What modifications have you made?

I have not made hardly any modifications to Zen Cart other than CSS and other aesthetic changes, I am running 1.3.6.

I can't seem to find the place in Admin to change the form action on that final button.

He can still take Paypal IPNs and Check/Money Orders, but not credit cards because of the form action problem.

My client's site is live before it was ready because he embarked on a publicity campaign prematurely and neglected to tell me until the day his commercial ran.
Now I'm having to fix the form action as thousands of people are trying to order.

I can click "view source" on the "Step 3 - Final Confirmation Order" Page and see the entry the Paypal people told me to change. I just can't get to it because I don't know what the HTML file is called.

What is the HTML page within Zencart where that is located?

Yours is the first report I've seen of this issue. I'm surprised that PayPal is telling you that.
It's understandable that some folks may have troubles with CAPTCHA symbols, and yet it still is a necessary practice in many places.

Changing the form action to ~~target="paypal"~~ seems like an odd suggestion.
I'm not sure why that suggestion was made, unless you're trying to do your payments in a popup or a new browser window.

If you want to do it, simply go to your Admin->Modules->Payment->PayPal IPN. Click Edit. Scroll down to the "Mode for PayPal web services" entry. Add ?target="paypal" to the end of the path already there, and save the changes.

Then test.

I'm not optimistic that this will make a difference to your customers.

If you use the Express Checkout module, all of the address-info exchange happens in the background and no CAPTCHA will be needed unless a customer insists on not identifying themselves completely.
