Wide Banner Position

Ok I have looked at a ton of threads and can't find what I'm looking for. I'm just wanting to move the position of the widebanners to the top of the page instead of the bottom, I think it will be an easier way to put my site logo at the top to fill go across like Zen Carts logo is doing. With my main wrapper aligned in the center, any help with be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for that info....the problem is it didn't help me any...I have been look at the faqs and forums for info on what I'm trying to do. I have been trying to find this info for a week now. I can't find info on relocating the wide banners or having the site logo wider that the main wrapper. Maybe I'm over looking it and if so I'm sorry for that. So if someone can point me to where the info I'm looking for is that would be great, or if you know it because you did something like this to yours I would be very appreciative. Thanks, JLV

You probably did not find this because that is not what the banner function if for.
Kim was trying to guide you to reading how to create your own template and changing the header & logo, which is the method you should use

go to admin- config- layout setting

change banner displays groups- banner position 1 to "wide-banners" and then go to banner manager and upload the image you want.

I am trying to move a side-banner to the bottom. I'm sure it's simple but i've tried for a couple hours and can't figure it out.

If you are using the Banner Manager for this, you need to see what Banner Group it belongs to and then place it in one of the Banner Group definitions on the Configuration ... Layout Settings ...

Thanks for the reply. I was referring to the vertical alignment from top to bottom (valign). Is this possible from the stylesheet?

You lost me there ... you have your PayPal banner in a sidebox ...

If you want that in the footer then you need to put that Banner Group name in one of the footer banner sets on the Layout Settings ...

If you are trying to do something else ... well, perhaps a designer type will come along that can help you ...
