Third...no email notification of order was sent...
Nothing has been played with the site...
Please tell me you can find a solution!

Can I do the upgrade easily myself? how long will it take? will that effect the orders etc..
There are a number of threads on how to do upgrades in a safe manner ...
You might do a search on:
/new_shop
And read through a few of them to get an understanding on how to do this ...
As to the missing order, you will need to contact your customer to see what they ordered ...

will do...and thank you for your time![]()
The reason for orders not appearing in your admin area ... is that PayPal's server hasn't notified you that the order is completed. PayPal has to talk directly to your website to alert the order and "release" it so that it's viewable in the admin and sends out the order-confirmation emails, etc.
That's clearly not happening. It could be a result of the Zen Cart software version you're using, or it could be a problem with how you've configured the PayPal IPN module's settings in the admin, or perhaps a currency mismatch issue, or more.

I just got home and was checking my site, and it's all messed up??
Can someone view it and tell me what on earth is going on?

Somewhere you have a broken file that is allowing code to display as text ...
What changes have you made to your site since it last displayed correctly?
My first guess is that this file is damaged:
/includes/classes/class.smtp.php
Try to reload a clean copy of it ...
