PayPal Order Missing??

The version of Zen Cart that you are running is really very old ... we are on v1.3.7 ...

Any chance you can upgrade?

There are so many security issues, bug fixes and new features added since that version it would really be of benefit ...

Doing a search on:
/new_shop

would help locate many threads on how to safely upgrade a site with the least amount of down time for the site ...

Ok nothing like resurrecting an older thread but it seems like the place.....

It has just been brought to my attention that my client had an order for $60.75 that processed through paypal successfully as shown by looking at the order.....but there is no product information with the order. The cart did not send any conformation emails to the customer or the admin.....the admin did receive an email from paypal saying that they had received funds for an order. A review of the database finds the order but also with no product attached to it.....

at this point I'm just looking for some places to look for troubleshooting as a decision was made to refund the customer in the form of a gift certificate and have them reprocess the order

Did they pay with an e-check? Also, did you happen to install the PayPal patch for this? I think it is listed earlier in this thread.

It will be a better idea to download from the zen site the script, Paypal Sessions Order. With that you will be able to track all your paypal transactions. I had that issue befor and still could not sort it out.

I have since updated to Zen Cart version 1.3.8a which has fixed the paypal mising orders and other things.

For the copyrighted watermark logo not appearing, I removed IH2 and re-installed it and cleared the image cache and it fixed the problem.

The sitemeter HTML code I added that to the inlcudes/languages/english.php or my custom template.

As for showing more then 5 links on the bottom of the products page still no solution for that, but all is well.

We are having the same problem with authorize.net. The Email comes from auth.net about the amount but that is all, no information about the order is recieved. In the admin area there is the customer sign-up data but no order history at all. Using 1.3.8

I'm having the problem with paypal and I'm using the most current version of zencart.
Payment gets sent through paypal and we receive confirmation from paypal, but nothing is in the orders in the admin area.
Any ideas from anyone on what the issues is?

I'm using 1.37

I too have orders that aren't showing up in admin, but paymentts have been made in paypal, would be good to know what the problem is and whether it is a payPal issue.
