SubCategories & Products

For some reason it wont let me add SubCategories & Products within the same catagory

NOTE: Category has SubCategories
Products cannot be added

Is there a setting that hasent been enabled?? Im running Zen Cart 1.3.7

From your description I am not sure what your issue is but if you have a top level cat with subs products can not be added directly under the top level cat

The way the Categories and Products work ...

A Category can hold Categories or Products but it cannot have both ...

To try to force this would result in pricing issues, search issues etc.

ok no worries out of interest has this always been the case as im sure on a previous zen store i was able to have both products and SubCategories under the one category

It has always worked this way ... the difference is there is a safety to protect you from yourself ...
