How to remove the 'New Products Listing' altogether

As in the subject, i do not want the new products to be shown at all .... the reason is because the products are not new at all they are just randomly selected from the database (allbeit the latest added to the database) ... but they are not new products. So i want to turn this off, is this possible and how please? Many thanks.

Go to "Configuration", "Index Listing" and you can turn off those center boxes.

Actually it only paritially works, if for example you add items to a shopping basket and then remove them so the basket is empty, you once again see the box 'New Products in January' .... any ideas how to get rid of it totally anyone?

You can adjust that under "configuration", then "stock".

This mod is an absolute must, its an Admin Reference mod, and basically allows you to type in a search term to help find the correct config. In fact I typed in "new products" to help find the answer to your question:

Hey thanks for the mod heads up, however when I run that mod for first time (every time) I get kicked out of the admin area and have to re-login .... then i can use the mod again, but still its a strange and frustrating thing to happen, any ideas why this would happen every first visit to this mods features ?

I've never had that happen in my 1.3.7 store.... or any of the versions I've used this mod on. Very odd. Then everything works as normal, or you can only use this mod one time at a time?
