Different Shipping Module For Different Categories

Hi guys. Is there a way I can have differen't shipping modules for each category?

Say For Cat 1: $5 fixed shipping charge (per order)

Cat 2: UPS actual shipping rates by item weight

Cat 3: Fixed shipping Fee PER ITEM say $3 per item

All of these modules would work together upon checkout. Say if a customer orders 1 item from each category.

Cat One Would Charge $5

Cat 2 Would Charge Actual (Calcluated By Zen UPS Shipping Rates of lets say $10)

Cat 3 Would charge $3 shipping

And upon Checkout Zen would add all this up total of 18 shipping. Has this been done. I will make a donation if I can get this feature implemented.

This could be written ... it would take quite a bit of customization to manage it per category ... then calculate the cummlative total for the full shipping charge ...
