    Default Linked Stylesheet??

This is interesting...I have been styling my site using the standard stylesheet in my custom template dir. During some changes, I made a copy of that stylesheet, left it in the same dir, but with a different name (let's say stylesheet-old.css...then continued using the "newer" stylesheet.css.

I went to delete the old one (kept a backup luckily) and proceeded to lose some of my styling...when I put it back in the dir, the styling came back. And when I use the Web Developer plug-in for firefox, click the CSS/View Style Information menu item and then click on my site in the affected area, it links to the old stylesheet only?? And most other clicks in my site link to both the new and old stylesheet...and what's funny is that the styling I'm losing is coded the same in both sheets? Is zen linking stylesheets some way? How can I lose the old sheet w/o losing my styling???

and btw, not a big deal, but I'd rather not have two very similar stylesheets in my custom dir...just confuses things.

The directory is an autoloading directory ...

It sees the file and grabs it ... so your choices are:

1 Keep a copy on your computer and not on the site ...

2 Change your naming convention ... instead of using:
    stylesheet_old.css

    Use the method off:
    stylesheet.css.old
    stylesheet.css.old2
    stylesheet.css.old3

So that your old stylesheets do not load automatically ...

    Thanks Ajeh...

Understood, but if I didn't load that old spreadsheet, then some of my styling wouldn't work. So what I did was copy the styling in question from the old (which my site was grabbibg from) to the new, overwirting the same styling in the new and it seemed to work...even though comparing the files and looking at the styling in question it seemd to be exactly the same.

But good to know it is an auto-loading dir...didn't realize that!!
