You can try opening up includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common/tpl_header.php and change all:

<br class="clearBoth">

to:

<div class="clearBoth"></div>

You can also try removing this from the same file:

      <div id="navMainSearch">
        <?php require(DIR_WS_MODULES . 'sideboxes/search_header.php'); ?>
      </div>

Well, looks like a few are fighting with this from what I can see. This only seems to quak out in IE. As does for me as well, only the gap is belowmy header image rather then on top.

Going to try the last users comment to see, but I've combed through till my eyes have almost popped and can't find it either.

The colors may make it hard to pick out, but as seen in IE, just below the header.

Actually, I don't see it... did you fix already?

No, it is not fixed and is still present. Hard to see, but do a compare with FF and IE. Look to the cart icon on the header, just below you will see a break on the outside edge, look to the right and you will see the same break.

That 1px?? break is actually part of the background image you are using. it appears on both the left and right side of the image.
