PayPal-IPN / eChecks Bug?

Been watching this for a week or two, and ready to declare we definitely have something wrong here. We book hundreds of orders daily all run the PayPal IPN, over last week 3 orders were eCheck, all three have one thing in common, never come back from PayPal.

Have to do the "recover stuck paypal records" on them every time.

Anybody else see this?
Any fixes discussed that I may have missed?

ZenCart vs.: 1.37
Only payment mod: PayPal IPN
Never setup/installed PayPal express
Shipping mod: zones

Thoughts?

That patch looks like for express, don't run express, just IPN, should it be applied anyway?

Do try applying it as there are some shared files ...

Will do....problem is I only catch 1 for 200 orders on eCheck, so in a live environment, not going to be quick to know.

No way of testing this eCheck talk back on your non production test servers?

You could make your own order using an e-check to test this ...

The tests we did ... worked.

However, there has been a problem discovered with some table structure issues (field lengths), which are fixed by installing the Express Checkout patch (updated again yesterday) and turning it on. (and off again if you don't want to use it).
