Attributes setup question

My client has the following situation:

1 product can come in 3 colors. Of those 3 colors, only 1 comes in multiple sizes. From what I have been able to figure out, Zen Cart allows users to select each attribute independent of each other. However, in the case of my client, a user should only be limited to 1 size for 2 of the colors and can then choose from multiple sizes for one color.

Is this possible in Zen Cart?
