Link in Categories Sidebox

One of my clients wants one of the empty categories on their site to go to a page that says 'Coming Soon' with a logo of their carrier.

How would I go about adding something like that to the categories sidebox?

I'm assuming an if statement saying:

if the category equals this id number, then load this ezPage instead...

am i on the right track? and if so, could anybody point me where I should go..?

Just create an empty category and leave it active. In the category information/Description box you could insert the information to be displayed. Since no products are available in this category, the customer will only see the category information box.
