Add Fields with Easy Populate?

Is it possible to add new fields to my ZC DB with Easy Populate?

Failing that can I use Easy Populate to populate and update custom fields that i create elsewhere, or am I limited to the fields in the template?

I just want to be able to update fields other than those already written into easy populate. Has anyone done this? Would it be and easy mod?

I see that the OSC community has attempted this, do these Easy Populate mods work in Zen Cart?

If you want to add fields to the spreadsheet that correspond to existing fields in your zen_products DB table, for instance to add the MSRP or map pricing fields, go to http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=116061.

You should be able to add fields from other database tables into easy populate. I haven't needed to try it, but it should just be a matter of adding an extra database call right after the existing calls. There will be 7 instances of it in admin/easypopulate.php.
