Something not wanted - "new products"

I have turned off "new products" everywhere I found the switch but it appears on the empty cart page.

I am using 1.3.6.

This got me too, and I only found it by mistake... The AdminCP could use a reshuffle me thinks...

With due respect, it is very much needed Kim :)

There are far too many switches that seem randomly placed throughout the AdminCP.

I'd also like to see all hardcoded html and css classes removed.

Can I throw in that having the Features in the drop-downs listed Alphabetically would also be a great help.

so i turned it off in the stock area and it didnt go away! then i turned on featured products on that page and it showed up. then i tried to turn it off and it didnt go away!! for some reason they wont turn off...
do you have any ideas before i go in and hack the code by hand??

Use this old reference mod, it has saved me TONS of time. It allows you to search through the different admin entries to find the right one.

Featured products won't go away? You're editing it on the "Stock" page? Also try the ones on "Configuration", "Index Listing"?
