help question installing Easy Pop in the right directory, which one.?.

I don't mead to pick the wording apart here on the install sheet, but it could be made a little clearer for beginners. I'm sure once I do this, I would not question where these files go, but it is a little ambiguous now. It is hard to write clear directions when the person writing already knows the product inside-out.

    1) The install file says: Change the name of the "Admin" directory in this package to suit your zencart install. This isn't exactly clear. My Zencart install is in a folder called "ZC" I have renamed the "admin" folder from my Zencart install to "XYZ123" for security reasons. Am I supposed to rename the Admin folder from EP to ZC or XYZ123? I'm thinking it is supposed to be XYZ123

my admin location has been moved to this: www.mysiteaddress.com/zc/XYZ123/

    2) The temp folder is configured to reside in your store directory. If you store is not in the site root (eg. /mystore/) then the temp directory must also go in this directory. Again, this is clear for someone who has installed this before.. my site setup is: www.mysiteaddress.com/zc/
So, I'm thinking that the /temp folder should go in my /ZC/ directory? Is this correct?

Also, what about the install_sql file in the zip file? It is not located in a directory?

Sorry for the double/triple post, but I can't edit my old posts..

I am getting this error message:
NIX SERVERS: Your uploads folder is either missing, or you have altered the name and/or directory of your uploads folder without configuring this in Easy Populate.
WINDOWS SERVERS: Please request your web host to assign write permissions to the uploads folder. This is usually granted through Windows server user account IUSR_COMPUTERNAME.
Your configuration indicates that your uploads folder is named ~/qwerty/zc/temp/, and is located in /kunden/homepages/2/d17945654/htdocs/qwerty/zc/, however this cannot be found.
Easy Populate cannot upload files until you have provided an uploads folder with read/write/execute permissions for the site owner (usually chmod 700 but you may require chmod 777)
    I have tried 700 and 777

    Yes and yes.

I'm not familiar with EZ Populate, so I don't think I can answer your other questions. There is an EZ Populate support thread on the forum.
