Custom Template not available

I recently switched servers for my site, and I'm running into an issue with my custom template. The site is defaulting to the Classic Contemporary Green, which is the only template available in the Template Selection area in Admin>Tools.

The site file structure was copied directly from the old site, so the new template and template_info.php file is where its supposed to be, but I still can't select it... it's not there to select.

What are the permissions on the file? A URL?

After a bit of monkeying around, now all I am getting is the Contemporary Classic Green template in the classic directory. There is still no choice for my custom template. Before it was looking in my custom directory and only finding the CC Green template.

Kim, you are right that its a file permissions issue. I changed the permissions to 777 (from 766) and now I can select the template. But now I am getting more permission errors...

Ok, I got it all figured out. When I transferred everything over, there were many permission issues. Lots of folders had no execute permissions...

I had a similar problem a while back with a different application on my server from a backup that was on a CD.

When I burned the CD, just about all the file permissions were changed. Now when I save backups on a CD, I only save them as one large tar or zip file to preserve the file permissions.
