Cannot get product to show images...

Hello again, seems to be my night... I purchased a Zen Cart template from Template Monster (Merlnpa1969's favorite), and copied a lot of the database structure from the demo website into my own. For the most part a good deal of the structure works. My problem is that I still cannot get the image links to work correctly. I will give the links to both sites, mine and the one I am trying to get it to act like:

Now I know that I have to change some links somewhere, but where exactly? Is there a place in ZC admin that lets me select the image location for each product? I saw some form on there but I don't really know how it worked. Also, I have noticed that in the site structure there are like 4 different areas that have /images folders. How do I know which one I am to put most of the images? Currently I have the images I want to use in the /templates/MY TEMPLATE/images/ folder. Is that correct? I have looked at both of the configure.php files and they do not go there (am I answering my own question?). Just a little help and a smack on the back of the head is all I am asking for... heh heh, once I get this done, I have to peruse through the tutorials on setting up my shopping cart for customers, so I am sure this will not be the last post!

It appears that you have not entered any products....

admin > catalog > categories/products > select a category > see of there are any products > if not > add product

Thanks for the response. I noticed this area, but it actually seemed confusing. In the area at the bottom to select the location I don't want to select it locally. So when I see: Or, select an existing image file from server, filename:, what path should I put? I put: /includes/templates/theme004/images/08.jpg and after I saved it, the path said, IMAGE DOES NOT EXIST.

What am I doing wrong?

Did you try just entering "08.jpg"?

All the cool easy tools and you do not want to use them????
Try one and select locally an image and it will upload to /images. Preview and the image will display - save and you will see it in the frontend.
Why make this hard while you are beginning?

Kobra, thank you for commenting on this. I didn't mean that I did not want to use that feature, but instead I tried it and it seemed that it didn't upload it to the /images folder. There is a field underneath that area that asks where I want to move it to and none of the selections are /images, more like Main Directory, attributes, etc. And when I have tried the image shows up in the config page, but nowhere else.

/images is the default Main Directory. Check that the permissions to this dir are 777 so that you can write to it. As this has worked correctly for all versions at least in my experience back to 1.2.4 this should not be an issue and work if your install is not corrupt in some fashion
