remove search which appear at right column by default

Hi,

I am new to Zen cart and wondering is there a way (preferable via admin) to remove the search which appears at right column by default when I try to customize my the template? Thank you.

All of the Sideboxes are controlled by the settings in the Tools ... Layout Boxes Controller ...

If you do not want a sidebox ... turn it off ...

I had tried with that section. I have all the boxes turned off initially and don't know how the search thingy, it is not a box in fact, turns out.

uh..... It was weird. Initially, I have no search field at top of my page but a search field at right column, I make no change at layout boxes. After I turned on the search_header.php, the top search field appears as expected. When I turned it off, the top search field doesn't disappear instead the search field at the right column disappears. I wondering is it a bug? just a guess. Anyway, I now can have the search field at right column disappears, problem solved. Thanks for reply.

Under TOOLS->LAYOUT BOXES CONTROLLER, there are two settings for the search boxes. One is search_header.php which turns on/off the search box in the header and in the left or right column. The other is search.php which controls the search box in the left or right column only.
