problems with banners bug and layout settings

I have a couple of problems:

1.) Look at the "Sponsers" box on the left side of my page. The first few banners inside have way too much space in between them. It is not the banners themselves as it looks the same even when i switch other banners from the bottom of the list up to the top. How do I fix that?

2.) In the categories box there are some products with slightly longer names which take up two lines, how do i modify the width of the box so that they all fit on one line? I tried the layout page settings in the admin->config but this only shifts the boxes themselves around.

Any help with these would be appreciated. Here is my site:

can anybody shed some light on this banners problem for me? it really looks like crud...

I'm not seeing any thing with the Sponsors box though i clicked on a few categories to swap banners. I'm using Firefox.

As for the Categories box and the names, you could increase the width of the boxes.

Configuration -> Layout Settings.

There is a line for boxes on the left, then another entry for right-side boxes. This widens the box size and in so doing, will adjust the center column.

I love the rounded corners, BTW.
