Adding an image to index.php

I am making the transition from OSCommerce to Zen Cart.

Can someone give me some help on what code to use to insert an image on to index.php

TIA

Also, I am trying to remove the HEading Title altogether (that originally says Congratulations you have successfully installed Zen Cart)

I have tried commenting it out on index.php but when I do that HEADING_TITLE appears.

Re: Adding an image to index.php

What image and where do you want it? Normally in ZC this is not in index.php.

Start with the FAQ's as the questions that you will generate coming from OSC are mostly contained in the FAQ's from the home then information links

Re: Adding an image to index.php

The image will change each month, but here is an idea of what I would like to do.

If you go to my old OSCommerce site

http://www.rememberthemoments.com/shop

you will see the image that appears between the two columns and above the New Product Box.

I would like my image to appear in the same place

(below the Heading Title (Welcome to Remember the Moments) that I would actually like to remove all together

Re: Adding an image to index.php

For this and as long as the image is sized to fit the available space...

You can go to admin > tools > defines page editor > select the html editir > and the defines_main_page.php file and insert the image to this file - viola!!! it is there

Re: Adding an image to index.php

Hi I am new,

I was also trying to use oscommerce but that really sucks, I am very happy with zc till now...

I have followed the steps explained above but its showing the following:

Error: I can not write to this file. Please set the right user permissions on: /home39b/sub001/sc28591-FTHE/www/shop/includes/languages/english/html_includes/classic/define_main_page.php

what folder or file should I change the persmiss. ? is it the includes folder or define_main_page.php file? and what should the permiss. be ?

thans in advance

cheers
