Shipping mind block

I can never get my head around anything other than very simple shipping methods and wish everyone offered flat fee shipping. Anyway I need to set up the following and just can't figure-out how to do this in a straightforward fashion:-

• UK orders under £80 = £8 shipping

• UK orders over £80 = £12 shipping

• EU orders as above

• Non EU orders as above + 15%

Shipping for Dummies-style answers please!

try installing/enabling the zone rate module in admin > modules > zone rate > install...

Then edit and Calculation Method >select by price

Zone 1 Countries > enter the codes for the UK countries and the EU countries

Zone 1 Shipping Table > 80:8.00,1000:12.00 where the 1000 is a number high enough to encompass order totals that you will ship for £12

in Zone 2 Countries > enter your Non EU countries that you will ship toby country code

Zone 2 Shipping Table > 80:9.20,1000:13.80
