Shipping: Per Unit diferent Zones

Hi,
I was wondering what could be the best approach to this shipping scenario.
The thing is that every product has an individual different fixed shipping price for one Zone and another price for another Zone.

I thought of using the perunit module, but that will only work with one zone.
And so far I can't work out the logic to clone the module and make it work with a second zone.

For example:
Product #1 Shipping Price to Zone 1 = 50€
Product #2 Shipping Price to Zone 1 = 60€

I can use the perunitweight for Zone 1, no problem here.

But what if:
Product #1 Shipping Price to Zone 2 = 78.58€
Product #2 Shipping Price to Zone 2 = 80.95€

perunitweight Cloned module is not going to work for zone 2..


Any pointers on this scenario? Other modules to use?

These are not natively designed for a per item or specific to a particular item.

They can be set to price, weight, # of items

Hi there,

Im trying to do the same thing and managed to specify the shipping cost per item depending on zone using the zone rates module. However, this does not work when the buyer orders 2 of the same item.

How can i make the shipping cost multiply by the number of items? Can this be done using the zone rates or i have to use the table rates? Im trying to do Zone 1- GB, Zone 2- Europe, Zone 3- US, Canada, Australia etc.

For example,

Product 1 x 1 - Shipping Cost to GB - 1.50
Product 1 x 2 - Shipping Cost to GB - 3.00

I am bumping an old thread because it basically says what I need it to say. Has cloning the perunit, worked for anyone?

I have two different products:

Item One : Flat Rate National: 5.00 (up to three), Flat Rate National (over three) 10.50
Flat Rate International : 20.00

Item Two: Flate Rate National: 10.00 (Small Item), 20.00 (Bigger Item, but I can control this in attributes)
Flate Rate International: 35.00


Now, if you are going to say Clone Flat, please don't say "search for clone flat" because I did it a BUNCH and a lot of thread say "search for clone flat" , and thus is a dog chasing his tail effect. Would there be other language to put in the search if need to do this?
