Installing on hard disk

Hi.

I am trying to install Zencart on my hard disk. I have Easyphp 1.8 installed on my system.

When I reach on database setup page and submit required informations, I found following error.

Database does not exist
Unknown database 'zencart'

Now Can any one solve my problem please?

You also need mysql and apache installed. A couple of all-in-one solutions are Apache Triad and XAMPP

Easyphp has these (AMP) installed and is one that I also use for local Win Box previewing.

before you setup Zen Cart you need to create a DB for it - load easyphp - minimize after started - right click the icon in the lower menu - hover over config and select phpmyadmin and create a DB/name. - remember this name

in the Zen Cart setup the (from memory) dbuser=root, pass=leave blank, enter the DB name - this is all that is required as I can recall
