phpMyAdmin - 2.9.2 Problems!

I am having problems with my phpMyAdmin - on two seperate installs, every since I upgraded to a newer version I get problems.

If I am trying to show records using the arrows keys or the drop down page list to find entries it keeps going back the the page 1 even if I asked for say page 6, and if I try to edit a record it pulls a empty record. Its is driving me mad, but I have the same problem on two different sites, last night I loaded the lastest stable version being :-
